When the Start button is pressed (lower right) the settings for Light Wt, Heavy Wt, and Reset control the process. When the scale weight reaches the Light Wt and stablizes (no motion), it prints a label. If the weight is over the Heavy Wt it will not print a label. The software is designed to use any label program as long as it supports command line printing or has a trigger mechanism built in. Label Matrix and Bartender are two examples of label software that are used with Scale Fusion.

The system stores Product information that determines what goes on the label and how the product is packaged. It keeps count of how many cases go on each pallet, and prints a pallet tag and pallet manifest when that count is reached.
